The world’s largest short film festival returns to Sydney’s Centennial Park on Sunday February 14

Tropfest is FREE to attend, so bring your picnic blanket and join us for a celebration of great stories and talented storytellers!

Join us any time from 3pm for live music, entertainment and great food and drink, and of course the world premiere of 16 incredible short films at 7:30pm.

Venue Information

  • Tropfest is held at the Brazilian Fields within Centennial Parklands.

    Centennial Parklands is just minutes from the Sydney CBD and easily accessible by public or private transport. We encourage the use of public transport

    Remember bike is best for Tropfest!

    When you arrive you can securely leave your bicycle for free with the bike valet, which will be located metres from the Tropfest screens!

    Please note that there will be very limited parking in Centennial Park.

  • How do you top a massive night of short films at Tropfest? You kick on back at QT Sydney for the Tropfest after party, that’s how!

    QT Sydney are giving you exclusive access to Gold Grass seating at Tropfest and access to the Tropfest after party at QT Sydney’s Gilt Lounge. Welcome drink in hand, you’ll be free to debate which flick was the pick of the bunch. And when you’ve had enough mingling, fall into bed in your designer room.

  • How do I buy a ticket?
    You don’t! Tropfest is FREE to attend.

    Can I BYO?
    Yes, Tropfest is BYO-friendly but there are also plenty of great food and drink options available at the event.

    Is there an ATM on site?
    There will be an ATM available at the event, but you should carry some cash just in case.
